Did you make sure you enabled wireless in Windows Mobile before booting into Android? Even if you don't plan on using wireless, enable it before booting into Android.

Not working yet bro, but if you are looking for apps, there are several sites you can hit up to download them outside of the marketplace. Once you have the APK file, you can install on your device (just launch it from your phone like an executable file).

You can google for APK files, or you can grab some that Edvard published @connect-utb.com:

thanked you for that one... was wondering if i'd be able to install files manually while waiting for the marketplace fix.

Is there still no sound/music?

And by the way, after you boot without the sim card, you can put it back in afterwards.

I have not tried Android on my TP2 until today but have a quick questions. I launched haret.exe and it has been on the boot screen for the past 10-15 mintues and keeps repeating the same process.

Does it usally take a while on the first boot or does anyone know what i am doing wrong? Thanks and any help would be great.

Yup, I've had mine on - and used it for several calls, web, texts, and emails, since 12:45p. The battery indicator is not reporting the correct status - it is always 100%. I keep checking on it because I have a feeling that it will eventually just shut down on me without warning and I want to see what I can get out of it. 5 hours so far, not bad!=D>

Alright, it just ran out of juice on me. Battery life of approx 5.5 hours.

Right at the end, it actually started to register something other than 100%. It jumped to 89%, then to 95%, then (apparently) to 0%.

I am very thrilled with the build. Excellent work.
