also if your phone still doesn't want to make a call, then hit the windows key, go to settings/mobile operators/ it will do a search then click automatic selection. It should register then. The sound is not working yet, as civic is trying to get the basics usable, calling, data, sms.

I seem to be in the same boat.. Can make calls, receive... but can't hear anything, nor will sound pass through. Tried the VM trick, and it turned from complete silence to a weird buzzing... Oh well.. its still in develpoment.

well civic this just might be the only way I'd pick my tp2 back up again, I'm sure its SUPER FANTASTIC... but, I must be doing something wrong, I've tried a couple of times now and re-fortmated my SD to fat32 but I still cant get it to boot, I get an error writing the /data file, could this be because I'm using a 16g micro card? should I be using the stock rom?

I re-formated b4 each attempt, then put files to root of sd, in fact only thing on SD is the android files.

Wow! I have only posted a couple of times on this site...but I 'lurk' here every day soaking in tons of information. Civic...this is great work. I loaded this to my phone and it ran very smoothly! I am looking forward to future releases.

I have a question for you guys. I thought I was reading that you were loading and playing games from the market place...how do you get to the marketplace if there is no data?

i made sure i had over 370mb space,

extracted all files to a folder on the root named it Android,

deleted the data file entirely

called voice mail on speaker.. and

started haret.exe

3 min in the linux thing, 3 min with the 4colour thing and viola..

Booted up and made a call to voicemail. Pretty sweet!
