man this sh*ts is exciting...the next update may be as functional as I need to use android on the regular. thanks again civic...i've made a small donation once and there are definitely more to come...hopefully they will be bigger next time...I just gotta keep my wife off the donations radar...lol...here's a sample of what I might hear: "you're donating money to someone for 'apps' for that phone that already costs a fortune?!? I thought you said it was the perfect phone; that you wouldn't need another phone; now you want android? hmmph." hehe

i 'lol' a lot but i'm really crying on the inside....

nope. wm still runs while this does. a soft reset takes you back to wm. im sure with time there will be a rom consisting of android. or at lest dual boot.

There already is dual boot it just runs a barebones version of winmo and then loads android. This port isn't complete enough yet to do that.

Does the phone charge when plugged in when it is in Android mode?

Works great BTW, keep up the good work.

a page or two back there is a link to NRGZ's rom on xda. mainly for development though. Barebones winmo with android dual boot cooked in. If civic is as close as we think tho I might be looking for barebones or nonworking winmo with a working android as a day to day rom...

Edit\\: make that 4 pages back...post 82 i think...

If somebody did that it might be hard due to the fact of constantly upgrading roms and the port itself. I think we are better off to use the dual boot that is currently available because it gives a full fledged rom for winmo, and then the light winmo + android run. With only civic workin on this for cdma, I dont see android becoming a full blown rom anytime soon. I am not knockin civic, I think he has done a hell of a job with the current release and look forward to future releases.
