after switching from my class 6 4gb sandisk card to my class 2 8gb sandisk card, i finally got it boot past the X screen and everything works like it should.

now if only i could figure out a way make the screen go back to portrait mode after it switches to landscape using the accelerometer

EDIT--
I think my 4gb card might actually be partially destroyed as it only gets about a 1mbps write speed while my 8gb gets 5-10mbps write speed

i guess its a good thing i have spare cards :)

did you try pulling/replacing stylus??

worked for me a few builds back (but that was with no accelerometer)

For everyone having "lock up" troubles, you need to remember that all of this is still in the early development stages. To hold you over I repackaged what I know was the last good configuration, with my contribution - a calibrated touch screen:

Now since you can't do much with it, just play robo defense until the big guys get it all sorted out.

All I get is the Penguin and TONS of scrolling code that goes on forever. What am I missing?

You are missing only 10 things. You need to wait for longer depends on your SD card and this is still in developmeent, it may or may not work for you.

If you are stuck at the loading screen(text) and post some of the error lines, somebody here may be able to help.

I messed up the first time and only put the folder onto the root of my card. I then realized that I needed to put the 3 folders and 8 or so files onto the root of my card. I was able to get to the X screen after that and just kept tapping all over the screen to get passed that.

I did unzip the entire folder to the root of my 16 GB Sandisk microSD.
I'll wait longer to see if it EVER get's past the scrolling text. WAY too small to see what it's saying though...
