mine still wont get past the "X" screen. any ideas?

i can still get the 122109 build to boot up just fine every time but this newer build shows a lot of errors during the bootup and will not get past the "X" screen

sometimes it freezes the animation like its going to go away but then just like before, it starts right back up again

any ideas on how to get around this?

I'm working on a screen calibration at the moment, since both that are circulating are just off enough to be annoying...I'm getting closer hopefully I'll have it today..

what are you or how are you tweaking the configurations to these files to make this thing go? I'm a Linux enthusiasts and would like to tinker with Android to see if I can help the community, if you could just give me a starting point it would be greatly appreciated!!

X SCREEN LOCK UP... All you ppl having problems with the so called boot lockup. You need to give it even more time. With a class 6 sd card it takes 48sec, with a class 4 sd card it takes 2 min 37 sec, with a class 2 sd card it taked 9 mi, and with the cheapo class 1 sd cards that most of you have takes 17 min. Pony up a few extra bucks when you buy your new one for a higher class card not just the most gigs!

I just took out the variables. I knew the last good configuration and what had changed in the new one. The screen calibration is easily edited in the startup.txt file using notepad.

Old startup.txt: msmts_calib=0x7a.0x37f.0x35a.0x5e
most recent: msmts_calib=0x6a.0x3c1.0x376.0x8a
my work so far: msmts_calib=0x7d.0x3c8.0x393.0x81

but its not quite there yet...

I can get it to boot but it just errors out once I pass the X screen. It will go to the lock screen but anything after that I get errors and everything closes. It has done this with both builds typically wont go past android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Booting from sandisk sdhc 8 gig class 4 card.

There will be a new upload soon. I'm waiting on vicbush to implement Markinus' changes. This build should enable Wi-fi. I'll also throw in The Machinist's calibration, as long as it's better. If anyone else wants to take a whack at an even better calibration, feel free
