+1 Make this a REAL sticky.

I think it will help keep visibility (and therefore donations) up by making it sticky.

I think a lot of us are interested in this.

I've moved to the recently posted Android link on the first post and it is much faster on my Sprint TP2.

New build here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DH6C83WZ

Also, thanks to Ludacrisvp for the help on the lock screen. Silly me for blowing away and starting a fresh copy each time i was locked.

I am trying to get this to work on mine. I am on VZW with mighty rom and I even reformated my sd card to fat32 again. copied over all the files to root. My startup.txt file looks like this. Any help would be appreciated. It goes to a black screen

set MTYPE 2293
set KERNEL zImage
set FBDURINGBOOT 0
set initrd initrd.gz
set ramsize 0x6000000
set ramaddr 0x10000000
pwf dm.txt 0x8e0000 0x20000
pwf smem.txt 0x01f00000 0x100000
set cmdline "msmts_calib=0x7a.0x37f.0x35a.0x5e msmvkeyb_toggle=off lcd.density=220"
boot

Is there any harm in putting this on an SD card that already has stuff on it? Just want to know if it will delete any information or corrupt anything.

I ran it on a card with music/videos on it.

Everything seems fine.

Using the newly uploaded file and it worked on the first boot. All files are in a subfolder on my SD card. Just a note, since I didnt read about this. After all the little linux boot text, there is some four colored x graphic thing zooming about. This will go on for about a minute, then it will finish loading up.

This seems a bit better then the TP1 version, but not much better. They had all this basic stuff running on the TP1 10 months ago. They never figured out the radios though, so no data, bluetooth, wi-fi, and what am I forgetting, oh yeah, no phone calls. Hopefully since this new phone is closer to the Hero, it will be easier to find the missing portions and move them to the TP2. Hopefully....

Yeah I hope things go better for TP2. Diamond never advanced past this stage either. Kind of puzzling why the Vogue made good progress. Maybe it's the one that is close to a Hero. I think the advantage here is we are early in the "Product Cycle" and coders will keep hacking longer until the next gen phone comes out. And some work does carry over which is why we are where we are today.

+1 on the sticky... This would be a great thread to see at the top... I went ahead and added it as a personal sticky for my own viewing pleasure...

FYI: it took 20 plus minutes to boot for me for the first time. occasionally the screen when black with the black light still on. I just hit the power button and it went back to the linux screen.

Can I change it to english?
