^^well they usually flash it to the nand as to get rid of windows mobile altogether and boot into android instead. but i guess if you like running it on top of wm haret is alright. Me personally I'll be going for the more permanent option if it happens

It looks to me like it is having an issue with your SD card.
It says that it fails to mount the card. So I would try another card.
Also its not reporting a high speed SDHC card when it discovers it.
A high speed card is REALLY needed for any sort of usability.

Thanks for all the help, I got it going last night using my 8GB SDHC. Guess I'm gonna have to retire that card as I'm not sure I can trust it to flash roms anymore.

I'm pretty impressed with where this project is at now (in such a short time), can't wait to see where it takes us. Now we need data to really be able to give this a look. Seems like since WM's data connection is sitting there idle we should be able to tap into it. I'm sure someone will figure it out.

yea this is going along nicely. my dream would be a fully working rom with android sense :-). i think its possible, just gonna take time. i wonder if you could build a barebone windows mobile rom and throw in a shortcut in the windows/startup folder to automaticly run haret at boot up. hmmmm...

merry xmas peeps :)

I would like to toy around with the htc sense builds of android...so far android does lag quite a bit but I can use different applications on it and that's not so bad. screen size is bigger and haptic feedback is supported too...so far very fast execution much faster than the initial touch pro and even the touch vogue evolution...as far as applications go I am sad to say many are very niche and surprisingly the pdf readers don't work as well as adobe on winmo. That said still has some work to do...

Wow,

I am impressed. This is VERY promising! I guess I have been a little behind. Didn't notice there was an effort to port this to the CMDA rhodium. I will definitely be making a donation to this effort!

is anyone else having a problem getting past the "X" loading screen?
mine stayed at that screen for 30minutes before i finally gave up.

the older 2.01 build got past that screen in just a few minutes

Did you try pressing the X a few times?

yes, at times it would "freeze" the animation like it was going to finally finish but then started right back up again

the new update booted very nicely, the hardware buttons work now.

It they are way to get data on CDMA, It picks it up as sprint but no server. I wonder if maybe its picking up the Sprint SIM card.

Im currently trying to get my phone SIM unlocked.

Those of you that have Sprint Touch Pro 2 SIM unlocked, can you test this out and see if you are able to get data with a T-mobile Sim or ATT SIM.

Update:
I just removed the global sprint sim and it comes up as No SIM Card.

So this makes me think is you can get a CDMA, SIM unlocked you should be able to get se.rvice and data

When I run it, it shows the penguin and lines and lines and lines and lines of code running forever! After about 10 minutes of letting the code lines run, I just reset the device. I am on eRice's 6.5 ROM and the latest (12-24-09 Andriod).

Any ideas?

the usual reccomendations are to try another high speed sdhc card. a sandisk card seems to be going good for most people.
