the usual reccomendations are to try another high speed sdhc card. a sandisk card seems to be going good for most people.

I am using a Sandisk 16 GB SDHC card and still no love...

mine stayed at that screen for 30minutes before i finally gave up.

the older 2.01 build got past that screen in just a few minutes

Same thing for me. :(

The no service thing sucks cuz you can't really check out the apps. But man is this a great start. Worked right off the bat for me. Def can't wait to see what progress is made with this.

Since a few were having trouble with the latest 122409 .zip, I repackaged it using the bulk of the 122109 build but edited the startup.txt (from the 122109 but with the 122409 screen calibration) and used the most current zImage.

I would advise if you have any previously loaded android stuff on your SD to completely delete it all and use this....I had some trouble mixing and matching files today...

I also had problems with the most recent version getting stuck at the aud mgr portion of the boot (2nd time around...1st time got stuck at the "X" screen). Really I dont think the brand of SD card has an effect, I'm using an ADATA 8GB card and havent had any trouble once I figured out the startup.txt.

Hope it helps! ...can't wait to see a more functional build! Have a safe holiday.

still locks up if you try to power down from android so battery pull is still the only way to go back to WM.

Works fine here. I got stuck at the X screen on first boot. Pulled the battery, held the power button for 30 seconds, put the battery back in, booted into WM6.5.1 (SsS1 ROM, or w/e it's called) and ran Haret.exe from the SDHC card (8GB, class 6 SanDisk).

I put the contents of that zip file I downloaded in the first post on the root of my memory stick, with nothing else on the memory stick, formatted to FAT32.. maybe some people are running it from within the folder and that's causing issues?

Can't get data working, I thought someone said it was working.. oh well. It's cool to play with for now.

Hopefully someone comes out with a fully functional 2.0.1 that can be flashed, I'd replace WM in a heartbeat! :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention that everything is in German except a few icons.. not sure if that's how it's suppose to be, I'll read up on it in a bit..
EDIT 2: Once you log in: Click the menu tab -> Custom Locale -> EN (press and hold) -> Apply

Mine did the same thing, you just need to define a custom locale and pick en-us as your location.

Oh thank you, I just edited my post and when it refreshed I saw your response.. should have looked sooner haha

I bet it's because of our Vodafone SIM cards that it selects German as the default language..

this is a good start, a bit sluggish but hopefully when hardware acceleration is enabled it will speed things up a bit.
