[TESTING] XDAndroid GBX0C 2.3.7 Build

i tired other music players and ironically they all did the same and brought up the exact same files and only the same files that would play before would play now. i know the files work as i booted back in to wm and played them all from there. so maybe it is the funky bitrates that it throwing it off

Like I suggested before, start small. Gotta triage it. Break it down into small pieces to figure out which part is failing.

Alright i tried multiple different small files and the songs at 320kbps and 160kbps generally show up and play anything else that i have wont play. i found this on the android dev. site

there it says 8-320kbps but i figured that was for a native device running it off the sd card might be different, but it shouldn't be

sorry for the double post.
as soon as i put more songs in it errors out and only reads on album but i checked they are all on the sd card. i dont even know what to do at this point aside from throwing it at a wall. it used to work just fine but now it doesnt so again i am going to square one and start a whole new setup to see what is up

I was going to suggest a new data.img.

You can also force the media scanner to run using dev tools.

oh i didnt know that but yeah i have multiple phones and sd cards so i got the bundle with no data.img and i am waiting for it to load right now with all my music files on it if it still doesnt work i will try running the media scanner in dev tools. i saw a app called sd scan or something but since it runs off the card it wouldnt work as far is i know


Edit: creating a new data.img didnt do anything none of the music files showed i ran the media scanner and that didnt help at this point i give up. it has really tipped me that something so simple has to be a p.i.t.a. i might try again later but i doubt it

hm do you happen to have a couple of those music files that you can zip/share? the ones that don't work, might not help but it could be just your phone? I mean if it works on someone else's phone that is
