Re: NAND Boot Testing - 01-07: Panel power on/off fixes

hi guys,

have a quick question. i tried the full package and it takes several reboots (automatic) which happen right after "Waiting for SD card" during kernel loading up and even after it boots to the OS im getting some sort of pop up windows wchich says some android.acore process had to be shut down because it wasn't responding. do you think it's because I have class 2 sd card and from what i've read class 4+ is preferred for this application. thanks in advance.

Make sure you have your sim card removed. And I'm not sure what version of tp2 you have but its not working for rhod100s.

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 01-07: Panel power on/off fixes

oh yea sorry forgot to mention it's SPRINT CDMA with the "blank" SIM card removed. also getting into bootloader mode shows RHOD400. does it work on 400s?

edit

i just read that some of the msd cards can cause problems. im using sandisk 4gb class 2 card and it gives me the problems described above. anyone else using this card and having success ?

Welcome back, and just a heads up, I've been tweaking with a few things. After talking with stintebd a bit, there were a few things we were missing from rootfs, and I moved thing around a little bit. I'll be uploading a new full package within a couple of hours for people to mess around with. I'll also post the list of changes that I made

Sounds good .. lets see what u got. I talked to stine on fri but he had nothing to say. I'm really drifting away from the kernel development so i need to tend to it right away. I'll try to commit the KB detection tonight but i'll prob wait until i see your changes.

I'm thinking of commiting the sysinit.rc to a new branch since that is pretty much where all the android work happens.
