I'll be doing some testing at work tomorrow by manually adding that commit and messing with the modified rootfs to see if it helps with the panel turning on a little more reliably.

I had some weird lag issues when I first got it up and running, but as usual, I drained the battery, then did the full charge after it died in Android, then booted in, and this thing is running like a dream. Wish I knew why it shuts down on first boot and runs so chunky sometimes until I do that.
Nate, I'm not running Nand currently but here was a "fix" for the lag after a bootup, I'm sure it will work the same.

Is anyone having any issues with SOD? This and GPS not working was the only thing keeping me from running NAND. Which I'm now getting SOD's on Haret at least once a day now too...

I occasionally have a SoD. GPS seems to started to work again for me some time ago I think it was a rootfs issues.

I can validate that calling voicemail solves the sluggishness of NAND as well as HaRET.

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 01-07: Panel power on/off fixes

Using 1/7 modules and tinboot, xdandroid froyo 12/16 (all files except modules)

I always called 611 to fix the slow after boot...

GPS I haven't tried, trying now... GPS icon shows up, but puts me in the ocean! :O

Wifi I get Error when I try to start it... :O Whoa... I took these for granted!!

Will try the new 1/9 rootFS to see if that helps anything...

I too was having wifi issues last night, but when I let it drain the battery fully, then charge it up and booted in, wifi was working properly. I'm wondering if maybe the voicemail trick and a reboot might fix your wifi.

Wow the boot animation is quick and smooth. Very nice. Doesn't take 10 minutes to boot now (probably was the 3d driver versions)

Use the full package on the first post. It has everything you need, and is what I'm currently running. So far, about 4 hours after being unplugged and I'm still at 80% battery. At this rate, I think I can pull around 20 hours with pm.sleep_mode=1, and it's only going to get better from here

Using ADB is the best way that I know of. I can confirm that the Windows key does unlock the lockscreen (at least using LauncherPro). I do wonder if the problem exists with other launchers.

Ok, so if pm.sleep_mode=1 works better for everyone then wanna just make the autobuild use that as well ? i suppose i should remove force cdma and have the initrd add that to the cmd line since we can detect the variant huh..

so much to do, so little time.. need to figure out a way to quit my day job so i can concentrate on this :-p
