Re: NAND Boot Testing - Keyboard Mapping Fixed, HW3D, and Battery Algo Update
As far as I have experienced, the 'standby' time is pretty good already, but once you actively start doing stuff, the battery is flat in no time at all.
I can lock my Rhod, put it away and pick it up a few hours later and the battery has barely moved, but I can play about 30 minutes of Alchemy before the battery icons turns red and it starts to complain about low power. I can't imagine thats just the screen. Is it the CPU that is drawing so much more power then it's supposed to do? |

Modules are one thing, it's the kernel itself. You can have as many modules or "drivers" you want. Unless the kernel initializes them or acts a certain way they are useless.
Anyway I am noticing my phone doesn't lock fully anymore. The windows (menu) button can unlock the phone and end up hitting send since it is right beside it. I end up calling random people. It's a little annoying. I don't know if that is the keyboard mapping or the rootfs we are using. |

Re: NAND Boot Testing - Keyboard Mapping Fixed, HW3D, and Battery Algo Update
As far as nand is concerned, the changes are here: Commits in ~acl/linux-on-qualcomm-s-msm/linux-msm-rhod-nand:htc-msm-2.6.27 - Gitorious
For the standard linux-msm that Matt uses, check here: Commits in linux-on-qualcomm-s-msm/linux-msm:htc-msm-2.6.27 - Gitorious |
