You use the same file. Put one in the pocketplus folder the other without the underscore in the windows folder

Guys......... The "two" files are the same. I just finished installing everything and works fine. Much better than TouchFlo...

Download the "_PocketPlusTouch.zip" in this thread and rename it to "_PocketPlusTouch.dll".

Copy "_PocketPlusTouch.dll" to /Program Files/PocketPlus and copy the same file to /windows/ only take out the "_" in the front of the file name.

Taken from http://www.spbclub.com/forum/viewtop...r=asc&start=30

1) Change HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\EnableScroll to 0

2) Change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\Driver Name to "PocketPlusTouch.dll"

3) Change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Spb Software House\Pocket Plus\11\Enabled to 1

4) Copy _PocketPlusTouch.dll to \Program Files\Pocket Plus\

5) Copy PocketPlusTouch.dll to \Windows\

6) Soft-reset

7) Upon reboot you should see Smart Scroll in the PocketPlus options panel.

nice.

It appears that SPB's smart scrolling can not work on Resco Explorer. Any hack?

If i understand correctly, does this mean that you can just use the uploaded dll file and not install Pocket Plus 4 at all to use the new scroll driver?

I followed those steps, and Tflo still wrecks PocketPlus' smooth scrolling in IE. If I remove Tflo from the startup folder and reset my device the smooth scrolling comes back. It may be 'cause I'm using the cube on the Mogul though.

Yes it would be very different on the Mogul. I never used Pocket Plus on my Mogul though, but if you are either using FTouchFlo or some other TouchFlo mod, then it will definitely interfere. Like the reg edit in Touch, you disable TouchFlo, so the same applies for the Mogul - Disable other TouchFlo programs.

I'm not going to actually test that out, but I'm going to say that there must be a reason why the .dll file must be in the PocketPlus directory for it to work. At first I did not see that step so I only put it in the windows directory - it did not work. I believe the PP software still controls it somehow...
