If the Touch is like the Mogul, the 800W gets better reception. I have the Mogul and I get 1 or no bars in my house.. the 800W gets 3 bars in my house.

Bars mean nothing. What are your debug values.

Re: 800w Reviews

I know going from the Treo 755p to the Touch was a step backwards in reception, for me anyway.

I almost didn't upgrade to the 800 because of it, I do feel it is an upgrade. The 800 is much faster and more stable in my opinion. So far no issues other than battery life. It is getting about the same as my touch with the extended battery. I can't wait for the extended to come out for the 800, and a case. I don't like the one I have and will probably get one like the one I got for my Touch. Or at least the clip because the 800 doesn't really need a case with that clip.
That's one thing I've been wondering. I was thinking going from a Touch to the 800w would be more of a "sidegrade" rather than an upgrade. Is the speed between the two that noticeable?

A case comes with the phone doesn't it? Exactly what accessories come with the phone?

Re: 800w Reviews

Have the phone for about 8 hours. No thrills at all. It just does what a windoes mobile device is supposed to do. I loved my mogul, but this device is fast and stable.

Thanks. I have a house in the mountains, and while my 700WX barely got very spotty service, the Touch was steady. I have a Touch on order, but if I can get even better reception with the 800, it's a done deal.
