qwerty keyboard

does any1 know if it is possible to get the default touch keyboard that shows up in the contacts/messaging
in the menu its a fullsize keyboard that seems much better to use
this is the keyboard i am talking bout sorry so blurry

I may be corrected, however I have yet to figure out how to keep the full keyboard up, it seems to switch randomly between the shorthand keyboard and the full keyboard at random in an attempt to anger the user. I just downloaded a new keyboard, here a couple that helped me.

it's possible to make the full keyboard appear consistently, but you'll have to give up certain functionality... read this thread http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1524215&postcount=25 for details. i've been using this for over a month without any problems. i would also suggest you backup the files that this technique will replace.

yea, i had installed this touch keyboard in the last kitchen and didnt like how it randomly switched keypads when i wanted that "full style numbers on top" keypad..

the steps installing.. didnt work on the apache, maybe the reg entries were for touch only..
