But what about your old 700wx?

I've seen on XDA people mention they had the problem with a prior HTC device and hoped it would be resolved with the Touch Pro.

But I'm trying the lower A2DP setting and may try other tweaks that were suggested.

This obviously is not a very major concern or it would have received lots more attention and lots more complaints would be showing up here. Some Diamond owners have noticed similar issues and someone mentioned HTC said a patch was in the works. Still people have mentioned making various adjustments to resolve the issue. So I think there are means to stop the issue even before a ROM update.

Re: Music skipping...

I think I was able to recreate this issue while streaming today. it seems like sometimes after the backlight goes dim it would start skipping like crazy I checked for buffering or something like that but it was fine, good signal what have you, but I just touch the screen and the skipping stopped. what i am wondering is if when it tries to conserve resources if the TP is actually slowing down too much and tripping itself up. after I touched the screen and let it fade there was absolutly no issues.

also I upped the quality of the stream from 32k to 64k while testing.

Can't say I've experienced it on par with what I've noticed with my Touch Pro. Never have skips with my PC and never had them with any device prior to a Touch Pro. Only if opening other programs would I get skips with other devices.

Given the various threads on the topic, it seems some of us are experiencing it in a manner unlike with anything else. I didn't have any skipping yesterday after lowering my A2DP settings. And my device was much "snappier" overall too. I thought it was a little sluggish after installing the TF3D HD mod, but now it's as fast or faster than before the mod.

Re: Music skipping...

After more various testing, I'm 100% certain that in my own case the music skipping was related to my changing the A2DP settings. Whenever I change them from the default settings I get skips.

I've also found, that if I have more than 1 BT receiver on at the same time, like if I have my Motorola T505 and Motorola H680 on at the same time, I get skips.
