Insurce for Touch Pro

Is it worth it to pay out of your *** for these insurance plans?

It's like 8 bucks a month and 50 bucks replace it. Totaling to 97+50 for a year and one replacement. They don't always give you a new phone, just a refurbished.

Re: Insurce for Touch Pro

Would you rather spend 600 on a whole new handset?

Re: Insurce for Touch Pro

insurance is probably the best thing i have on my plan.

i went through a lot of moguls in the past, and i was given all new ones.... and i only paid $50 once. But it was better than paying $600 for a new phone.

Considering you may replace it more than once; it happens, lost, stolen, or the famous dropped it in the toilet, yes it is absoluetly worth it. It is just that: insurance. Same as if something happened to your house or car. It is there for peace of mind.

I will not ever regret getting insurance on my phone. I replaced my mogul 6+ times and counless 6700's.

And to be honest... sometimes after it gets so beat up its nice to be able to get a new one.

Yes I would say it's well worth it. My daughter washed her phone in the wash machine. It was a cheap *** free phone that you get with a new line of service. I never got insurance for it. So when she washed it, it needed to be replaced. Good luck finding any new phone for less then $100. Had we put insurance on her phone, it would have cost us $50. I have yet to get a refurbished phone.

Re: Insurce for Touch Pro

well i think most of us are on Sprint's SERO plan or some other jacked up deal anyways so we see the TEP being at $7 not really too bad. However, if i paid full price on my service plan, I might be less inclined to get it.

i have yet to ever use mine.... but like the insurance of getting a new\refurb phone since I did lose it once

Re: Insurce for Touch Pro

I am guessing we can only add insurance at the time of purchase?

And we can't add insurance when we want it? lol
