Re: one80oneday overclock app

would it make it run better as in actually faster. This whole OC thing is just to make sense run smoother or could it actually help in multi tasking.
can you explain what the whole steps thing means (yes i know thats a noob ? but only one way to learn)

No, that is normal.
It is stepping up/down the speed according to the load. Try changing the # of steps to 1 or 0(no stepping) and setting interval to 1000 or less and it will respond faster.

Actually lowering the interval is not same as polling.
It will just read CPU load faster, which will mean Dynamic Scalling will be faster!
Yes the author of the app has stated over at XDA site that he recomends users to set steps at zero (no scalling) if users do not want to encounter any SOD...
as many there reported it is the dynamic scaling that some units cannot handle without getting an SOD on call or sleep...
BUT as another poster stated( sorry I 4got who) we "may" avoid SOD on steps 1 & up by installing the SOD cab already posted here....
ALSO, I would personally not want to check cpu load so much as it loads processor and makes Dynamic scallig jump around faster, giving more chance for SOD(in my opinion)... but correct me if my assuption is wrong.
