Good luck.
i have this case.
I also have other cases.
I have to agree this semi-silicone clear case is the best.
Also easy to take off for reset or battery.
I have this for months and performance same.
Saved my case from fallls, has slight grip so doesn't slide.
Only prob is my clear version turned like a slight clear brown color.

Is that the case with the built in screen protector? If so I used it for a few days but didn't care for how the it felt. Not saying it was a bad case, I just didn't care for it.

Hope this helps you.

+1 On this case, I like it too. I can pull the battery out or whatever. The innocase like discussed earlier has a problem with the upper left tab breaking or failing to hold. No problems at all with the soft case. But stop to think, the only real protection a hard case can if is against scratches. I mean there is no cushion from a drop. Hard over hard still lands hard. But on a soft case it not only protects against scratches, it also act like a shock absorber.

Do you have a link to the case your friend has, or at least a brand name and model? I'd like to see if they make one for the Epic.
