Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
I'm looking for a case for the upcoming Samsung Epic. The Touch Pro 2 is practically the same form factor. I figure if it works for the TP2 it should work for the Epic. Has anyone ever used a jelly case for the TP2? I have used the hard plastic case with the rubberized exterior but they are really hard to take off. I am looking for a review of a soft case that allows the slider to work. Here is the link to what I have in mind:

Re: Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
Negative sir, a "jelly" case is not going to work with a slide out keyboard. I'm sure someone will chime in and say they have seen or used one, but that does not mean that it works well. I suggest looking at the Seidio Innocase. They add the least amount of bulk of any case I have seen. If you don't like that, the body guardz that were mentioned before are another great alternative. Just a pain in the ass to apply but once you get the hang of it, it's not so bad.

Re: Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
I used a soft silicone case that I purchased on ebay for my TP2. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT) I loved it because it has more of a plastic feel and gave the device a better grip without having to worry bout the attraction of lint, etc. I just recently took it off after receiving Zagg InvisibleSHIELD as a gift. Hope this helps you.

Re: Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
I am using the soft silicone case from e-story that MKyles references. No sticky lint pickup. Good case.
See my post on this case from an earlier forum here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...12#post1722812 Good luck.

Re: Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
It comes in two pieces and the part that holds onto the keyboard/screen is thinner than the case itself. The only trouble is that it tends to fold in when you put the case on the phone. If you don't do it right, the case tends to slide off.
I use the silicone jelly cases due to the number times I reset/do battery pull. (No, not daring enough to drill a hole into my case cover to access the reset button.) |

Re: Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
so is this a hard case or semi-rigid case? Or is flimsy like a traditional silicone case? I looked at the website in the first post but couldn't get a feel for the how the case looks

Re: Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
Thanks for all the feedback. I never did get a case that I liked for my TP2. I think I'll try out the Bodygardz.

Re: Anyone ever use a silicone jelly case?
A friend got an awesome two piece case for her Verizon LG Ally and I've been trying to find something like it for my Sprint TP2. It's somewhere between a hard case and a soft case, like a very tight fitting bumpy rubber. I'd love the same thing, except not in pink. Anyone else have a case they really like?
