Custom ROM's

considering trying one of the custom 6.5 roms. Can anyone recommend one over the other.
I am looking for stability and speed over all else. battery life is nice, but i always carry a spare.
Most of the ROM threads, there always seems to be something that isn't working.

Re: Custom ROM's

sorry, didn't see any on the main screen. if anyone has recommendations i am willing to dig into the roms. but there are quite a few out there with 1k pages of posts to read...
been using stock 6.1 rom on sprint with gt4l's cleanup and it has worked well. i would like to try a 6.5 rom, but don't want to be hard resetting everyday.

Re: Custom ROM's

You're on Sprint i see...try JD's SenseRom 2.5, it's specifically set up for Sprint and has everything working right out the box...

Re: Custom ROM's

From my personal experience MightyRom seems most stable, while EnergyRom has the most "wow." I prefer the wow, but you might stick to MM. These are personal feelings only and based off a single Sprint TP2. As for things that do not work: every ROM has issues, including the stock ones. I began flashing this phone the day tools became available and have flashed the crap out of it ever since...in that time I've had to hard reset about 3 times...YMMV

Re: Custom ROM's

This is like asking everyone which car you should buy. Some will say Ford, others Toyota, others Honda, others Nissan... and they will all make arguments for why their suggestion is best

So how do you decide on which car to buy? You take it for a test drive, right?

It's the same thing with the ROMs. The only way to know which one YOU will like is to flash them all and take them for a test drive. Only then will you know which one is best for you

Re: Custom ROM's

i'd recommend a honda but hey since you're in sprint you might want to try out malROM or neodium or also silence... those are my top three picks. mightyrom is also another safe bet.

Re: Custom ROM's

So far Calkulin's 6.5.x/2.5 ROM has been the best on my TP2. No need to mess with SMS/MMS configs and it's rock solid. MightyROM and EnergyLEO both rock as well.

Re: Custom ROM's

I'm now on the stock Verizon 6.5 ROM. Everything works also, but it's a little bloated.
