Automatic A2DP Bluetooth

Has anyone had any success getting automatic A2DP on their phone?

I was wondering the same thing. What bluetooth services exist in the EVO stack?

I'm not sure about all of the different bluetooth profiles, but I can stream the audio from my Evo through the sound system in my Flex. Is that A2DP?

The BT Headset manufacturer needs to have included A2DP in the headset profile. I have tested with several different BT Headsets and can confirm the below units work.

Stereo BT Headset:
Jabra Halo (Great sound quality)
Plantronics Voyager 855 (Can be used as mono as well)

Mono BT Headset:
Jawbone Icon Series (Need to download A2DP and install on Headset)

I'm hoping for a future option in Android where we can enable all phone sounds through BT, just as we had in WinMo.

I have no problem setting up A2DP to my car, the thing is that I don't want to have to manually connect my phone every time I get out of the car.

Try a profile app... They auto detect location and conditions to automatically change wifi, BT, etc settings... I haven't used one but have see them in the market and elsewhere...

In my experience it does connect automatically... but only if you also enable the headset profile with that device.
