So if Sprint gets Touch Diamond 2.. - Page 3

I work in electronics, and i have seen some sh!t. However, i hold no remorse for sprint if someone intentionally bricks a phone to get a replacement newer phone. Do you guys realize how much money they get off a single customer? When you buy a phone with a contract, you get a hefty discount. Most of that discount is payed off over the course of your contract, meaning a portion of your bill goes toward paying for your phone. You have paid your phone off within the first 9-12 months (for most phones) but your rates never change after that. Not to mention that 99.99 for unlimited everything, while a good deal relatively speaking, is about $70 more than it costs for them to provide the service to a customer for a month.

I'm surprised they still have touch's left. Anyway, I dont think they are allowed to replace a diamond with a touch. They are going to have to come out with a diamond replacement soon or else they'll have to replace them with something. Most likely the TP2 if nothing else comes out.

thats actually what i thought, but they told me that thay can only replace it with the htc touch, even assurion is doing the same thing.

Did you verify that with e care, other Sprint Reps,etc.?
Or was the only verification from the Sprint store rep you spoke with?

I thought it had to be an equal or greater phone interms of performance and features. What would be the point of insurance? That's like taking insurance on your Lexus and getting a corola in return when you wreck it!

also, was the vogue ever upgraded to winmo 6.1. I don't think it was. I think it was 6.0. You can tell them that it's a different OS, so it cant be exchanged for that.

Pretty good analogy. I've been very fortunate, no problems with my Mogul, Touch, or Diamond. That said, if I did experience some challenges with the Diamond, I would not settle for a non-VGA device. Very sad, all the commentary on dishonesty in our society.

i did verify with other employees, and i also called sprint on the phone, i also carified with assurion, and they infact can only replace my diamond with the htc touch...however i havent gone through ecare...i actually do not know hoe to do that? so please let me know how, cause its been aweek and still no replacement diamond.
