I work in electronics, and i have seen some sh!t. However, i hold no remorse for sprint if someone intentionally bricks a phone to get a replacement newer phone. Do you guys realize how much money they get off a single customer? When you buy a phone with a contract, you get a hefty discount. Most of that discount is payed off over the course of your contract, meaning a portion of your bill goes toward paying for your phone. You have paid your phone off within the first 9-12 months (for most phones) but your rates never change after that. Not to mention that 99.99 for unlimited everything, while a good deal relatively speaking, is about $70 more than it costs for them to provide the service to a customer for a month.
