yeah, but if something happens to the radio it will hang there. That's why he said that...

That's what my understanding was... And SDcerts was for way back in the day when they were starting to mod task bars I remember they using it for some other battery meter... But I don't install it no more and I works fine... IDK...

Yeah the start icon is supposed to change, but you have to do it manually. After you install tsowen's tasbkar, extract the files from the tsowen cab file and rename:

shellres.192.dll

to:

shellres.192.dll.0409.mui

then take that file and paste it in the Windows folder using a file manager that will let you overwrite files from the ROM.

Well, as an FYI, did a quick swap from the Sprint 1.11 to the Telus radio then tried again and no go. Still hanging, and yes LilRico, I did reboot the PC, rebooted my modem and router, cleared everything cachewise and cookiewise and redownloaded.

Gonna have to wait for Mike's next build I guess.

Sucks you're having all these issues...

Rebotting the PC to fix this problem sounds soooo stupid but it has worked for me!!! Leave it to microsoft...

oh ok...nvm...it's the same one...I thought it would look like the high quality ones I've been seeing like in tsowen 4 and 5....

So, any way to get the email fix without re-flashing? I just got mine set up, and put the TP2 manilla on it, that takes forever to load, so I dont want to have to go through that again.
