You need a program called Winrar to extract the mighty Rom file that you're downloading because it's compressed. http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

EDIT: Disregard... flyers beat me to it.

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro

I hope someone can help. Today after I tried a new set of batteries from ebay, I suddenly can't connect to activesync. I've flashed all kinds of ROMs and thought I settled on KK's 1.8 after trying the new rhodium ROMs. I'm using sprint radio 1.11. I can still charge from ac or usb, I've tried multiple cables and reinstalling activesync. Any suggestions besides using my insurance to replace my TP?

It be best if you post this in the HTC Touch Pro main forum, but I can try to help you out. Have you soft reset your phone and tried it? Have you tried rebooting computer? So, what does it do when plug the usb in to the phone? Does the menu come up with the three options, activesync-disk drive-internet sharing?
