WM 6.5 Custom Taskbar

I dont know if this was been askd b4 in this thread, but seeing as this is the wm 6.5 custom task bar thread im sure im safe..

but does anyone know how to change the word 'START'.

i was able to edit the word start and the start icon in wm6.1 but i tryd extracting the shellres in 6.5 and after using resco to change it all it does is Disable the start menu.. also if anyone has a editable shellres can u plz attach to post?? thank u all in advanced and im sorry if i trashed this thread.

are you sure you extracted a 6.5 shellres.dll.0409.mui

i was able to edit this one just fine...
i extracted that one from chronic ROM and edited it so that its blank... what did you want yours to say?

ok.. the shellres.xxx i extracted was off of JUICY7 rom, i used resco to copy/paste it to documents folder and tryd to edit it in resource hacker, didnt work. i used a rom extractor to try and do the same and that didnt work either.. both times resource hacker gave me an error saying the file something.. i forgot but anyways.. the shellres.xxx u attached froze my phone and it got stuck on boot screen for 5 min then hardreset thinking it didnt play right with other stuff i installed so after the hr i reinstalled the file and it got stuck again.. this time im using JUICY BETA2 . again, thanks for any future help..

have u tried switching to another 6.5 ROM? just long enuff to see if you yield the same results?

I was previously on an unreleased ATR3 TF3D'2 6.5 ROM i was apart of making and i had no problem customizing. so idk if its the different system/build or what but i just cant seem to figure this out. I just posted on juicy thread asking what could be differnt so i guess illl see what happens. thank u for takng the time to help..
