the program only lets u know what area the person is in...not exactly where they are at...and when u sign on to locate it sends a text msg to the phone u are contacting. so its not worth it....only if you have children. but adults...u might as well just ask

w/ vito findme, you can set your code word to whatever you like. for example if you're code word is GPS (the default) you can send a friend a text message saying "hey i cant get GPS to work on my cell..." and it will use this to locate them and send their coordinates to you. so they never in fact would know you are 'pinging' their location.

the only drawback is that this app must be on both the user and recievers devices... you'd have to get it onto thier device if you're looking to exploit it to track them.

the app is free btw...

family locator is gps location and should be accurate.

yeah, the locator is fairly accurate. From my experience it is usually a few yards off but certaintly more accurate than just giving you a general area. I just logged into the app and it gives you 2 options for notifications, you can select to have the phone notified everytime its located or you can choose to have an occasional reminder(thats exactly what it says to) sent.

Is there a way to trick SFL in letting it report a different location of the phone than it really is?

why so you can't be checked on by your employer? i think everyone here is looking to be able to track the phone, certainly we're not looking for functionality that is the opposite.

they have to your ''friend'' before you can track them, but the cool thing is that even when you're coming near a friend. you get their location.

I Totally Agree, Why Would I Want Someone To Know When I Am Looking For Them. I Thought It Was Just Me That Thought That Way.
