You can't use the slide-out keyboard for entering in WLS fields - ROM issue. You have to use the screen keyboard or Transcriber. I got the PCM Keyboard - search the baords for it.

Just tried tracky and really like it, but the backlight keeps timing out. This occurs even if it disable the timeout in the device's menu (Unchecked both "Turn off the backlight if device is not used for" Boxes). Looked in the program and found no settings for this. Does anybody know how to disable the backlight timing out in this program.

I just thought of something, verizonguy posted a fix that was supposed to resolve the backlight turning off, I have it isntalled... which may be why I am noticing the problems your having with the backlight.

Talking

I got it working, but not sure why it worked. All I did was go and check and uncheck the "Turn off the backlight if device is not used for" Boxes and now the backlight stays on. Soft reseted and still works?????? Only time will tell if it sticks. As for verizonguy's fix I don't know if it will apply as I am running WM6 on a PPC-6800, and they are not reset (boxes are still unchecked), they show that the backlight should be staying on. May give it a try if problem comes back.
Thanks for the super quick responses.

I use Iguidance 3, with Globalsat BT359 bluetooth receiver. This works pretty well, and is cost effective. Another advantage is the license includes both PPC and Windows version, so can use my laptop with the same GPS unit if required.
