Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

On the note of the custom ringer trouble, in 3 I was able to play .mp3 files without any trouble in the MS contact and "profile" setup pages when choosing the ringtone and hitting the "Play" button. However, now in 3.5, I can't use the play button to preview them in MS. In the setting page in WM, they play fine, and they are actually ringing, but I liked being able to hear them while choosing them in MS.

Thoughts??

EDIT: I can't hear .mid, .wma or .mp3 files through MS 3.5 for that matter when trying to setup ringtones. I was able to in 3 so something changed.

I have the exact same issue on my Sprint Treo Pro so the problem is not phone specific, rather it is MS3.5 specific.

Actually, I'm also running a Treo Pro from Sprint, so maybe it is a phone specific issue!

All I know is that in 3, I couldn't play any ringer files that were .mid files. However .wma and .mp3 files played ok in the MS ringer setup screens. But now in 3.5 none play. It does ring ok, but I just can't preview the ringers like I could with .mp3 and .wma files in 3.

BTW...I had my phone selection wrong in my user details. I updated that so it shows Treo Pro now. Didn't want you to think you were loosing your mind!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Don't know if this only happens to me on my HTC Touch, but the analog clocks on these sets (changeskin) have a nasty bug (the minute hand appears OUTSIDE of the clock skin).

As for the rest of the skins and the extra backgrounds, it's a nice addition to Mobile Shell.

Tommy
