SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Im loving the whole entire update...Birthday/anniversary reminders is cool, the current weather widget replaced WP activate widget for me, also being able to change the default action of most incoming messaging widgets to the new 3d viewer is awesome. No more winmo ugly messaging (well until I compose a message)

anybody using weatherpanel,storyR's wp widgits work fine. i think the new 3.5 sux, glad i got it free.

In case any of you use SPB MS3, they just released 3.5. I just downloaded it and thought I'd pass it on in case anyone missed the announcement and would want to download it.

How do you do this? I've got the 3D viewer icon on my screen and can access it that way but everytime I hit the "e-mail" icon I go straight to the old WinMo e-mail screen. I couldn't find a way to overide that and have the 3D screen come up when I hit the incoming e-mail button.

You need to hold down on the email botton and switch it there. Then in settings if yoy change it to 3D accelerated the animations are much cooler in the email.

I tried the program on my TP2 and feel like it is soooo slow in opening up the email page. I feel like the overall graphics are pretty week and does not do high res screens any justice.

The more I use TF3D the more I realize how well it was thought out and put together. It is just so much faster then anything else and offers everything you need at a click of a button....

not sure about the upgrade path - i received a free upgrade to 3.0 since i bought 2.whatever less than 90 days before 3.0 came out. wmpoweruser.com is saying that the 3.5 upgrade is free to all registered users of 3.0, but i can't find reference to that policy anywhere on SPB's site.

only had a few minutes to play with it so far, but i like what they've done. added more widgets, clarified the distinction between a widget and a shortcut. FINALLY a tasks widget! that's a huge, huge deal for me.

Dude, go on EDIT mode (bottom right) then select your email/messaging icon/hit default action/select 3D there....done,finito

Thanks but it's a no go for me . Probably a Treo Pro (no 3D accelerator like the Touch pro) thing though.... All I get are the options to: Remove, Edit Layout and Change Skin (no default action option).

must be, but 3d isnt a factor as mine is turned off on htc pro...
