SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

I really love SPB Mobile Shell.

I prefer it over TF3D2.

TF3D2 looks really nice, but just isn't really functional for quick access.

Mobile Shell 3.5 give me the customization and the speed I need, never goes over 45% RAM used in a sitting state.

Installed it this afternoon, so far I LOVE IT !!!

Only issue I've come across so far is that wireless manager and bluetooth widget won't turn the bluetooth on or off on my TP2. They work just fine on my Mogul. WiFi and everything else turns on and off as it should, but not the bluetooth. I have to use the "stock" comm manager to control it. Not a big deal.

I was skeptical, but 3.5 runs extremely smooth. Scrolling, visuals, and responsiveness is extremely good. I am curious how it will work during the week.

Also, make sure to turn 3d acceleration in the options, it makes stuff much smoother.

Very tempting. Does the broken contacts key in the dialer bother anyone?

yea, I pretty much agree.

I used MS 3.0 for about a month at one point, but after the novelty wore off I never really liked it & don't even bother installing it anymore.......

I used SPB for a few weeks when I received the TP2 on the 8th. Uninstalled and was happy with TF3D.

I must say, with 3D turned on, SPB 3.5 is REALLY nice! The customization, ability to mark messages as READ, 3D message view, and speed of the screen is considerably better than TF3D.

GRANTED, I have not done any real "work" with SPB, but the general performance of the TP2 is better with this shell.

As I said, I was VERY skeptical, but I recommend you try it.

I would 'try' 3.5. It is really smooth and (as I am learning) EXTREMELY flexible/customizable. 3D view of messages is neat and you can actually mark the messages as 'read'.
