Looking for a file system repair tool for the PPC

I've used the "mechanic" software and I don't think it actually does a proper syscheck on the memory card. So I need something that will do the equivalent of sticking the card in my PC and running disk check. The card develops "issues" now and then and I'm tired of having to put the card in the computer to get anything done.

I use WM5torage to make my PPC into a USB Stick for youe card slot... then you can run CHKDSK on it directly... This also work on the Extended ROM if its unlocked...

I haven't found a program that will do this for the main memory or that will run CHKDSK natively on the PPC but I haven't looked too hard either...
