it is real choppy even on the low setting. i am in a evdo service area. going to try to go wifi, but i am sonicwalled at work - so that wouldn't be an option there.

Thumbs up

vTap is dope. It is one of the best apps out there, even in its beta stage. My wife even enjoyed playing with it, and she is the most technically challenged person I know (besides my mother in law). Good looking on this find.

Great program....I found that it works best when in a EVDO area and all apps are closed as well....Still experienced the pinwheel a couple of times so I started using the "pause" after a video would launch. Let it download for about 10 seconds and allow the content to get ahead of my play speed. Much like you would on a desktop. Good program though...a keeper for me.

I hope they continue to tweak this app a bit, i'm blown away by it's potential. My only gripe right now is the buffer limit of about 2mb, this causes it to pinwheel 2 or 3 times while playing. But given the fact that it plays smooth after the buffering i can overlook it for now. i love the inclusion of wiki search, and the context sensitive typing.

I think this must be related to the crappy Direct Draw performance on the Mogul. Anyone have any ideas to work around this? This app seems too good to miss out on

It's a shame it doesn't let you chose GDI instead. Of course the sound would still be out of sync anyway.

Also, it makes two shortcuts in my Programs list.. can I remove one somehow?
