its not the calling, its the interface.. i ws trying to setup the ear piece, and it just sorta froze at the test thing for 5 minutes, and then lagged the entire phone.

i've been trying to get it to work, but it keeps getting stuck at "sip: registering as" and its not connecting. i freed up the ports mentioned in the article, but its just not connecting. i can receive calls though.

This is just for outgoing calls to go through GV. If you don't need that and just want to receive free incoming calls on your GV number, turn that option off. My gizmo account has $0, and it works fine!

P.S. You might want to edit out the phone numbers from your post!

actually i think you can get around the cell connection by putting in your land line as the "from" number (as opposed to your cell number), so it will use data connection or wifi to establish connection between GV & your land line (from #), then it will connect to the number you've dialed. no need for cell svc.

Right, that probably works (I haven't tried), but that's not what the OP wants to do. If you're gonna use your landline, you don't need One Dialer at all...

I have a Samsung Omnia I910 with WINMO 6.5. Is there a SJPHONE for this platform?

I used FRING but its very unstable on my phone and when it does run smooth.. the call quality is very buzzy and unclear.

Did you try the WM5 version? It should work.

I tried one of these links like a month ago, and it wouldn't install nor did it look like the usual cab file icon. I'll try out your recent link.
