Basic Omnia II apps extracted (calc, calendar, menu launcher, photo album)

So far 5 basic apps have been pulled:
Phonebook, Powercalc, SmartMemo, Calendar and Clock

There's screen clipping on my Touch Pro, as expected; but hopefully peeps at xda will fix that soon. Got a couple apps to launch... unfortunately some aren't working for me on my Touch Pro. You can see the calendar working on the xperia below.

Checkout the download folder from the guys at MoDaCo.
Menu Launcher and Photo Album have also been ported.

I want the Midomi app badly!!

More info from pocketnow

Re: Omnia II apps already being extracted for other WM devices

Very cool. The Touch Calendar sounds very interesting to me. I've always hated the stock/default Windows Mobile Calendar. For me, it borderlines on being worthless. Microsoft should have updated the (very outdated) calendar years ago.

Anyone mess around w/ it yet?

Menu Launcher and Photo Album have also been ported. Still have some bugs for soft key buttons i think.

Re: Omnia II apps already being extracted for other WM devices

MOD please close this thread as most of the earlier apps didn't work at all (or merge with the new midomi thread title name change). I forgot I posted this one, otherwise I would've updated it with new Midomi and Sharepix info. Sorry and thanks!

+1 I remember messing with the drivers from the omnia on my phone but couldn't get it to work right and never saw a rom with it at least as an option.
