Software for weight training?

I started weight training last month and i get lazy about recording and logging how much resistance/reps/sets i do.

Im looking for some good software that helps recommend what i should do in my workouts(ive already got my own plan) or at LEAST allow me to input and save my current progress/weight/reps/sets/resistance for comparison to next week and so on..

Re: Software for weight training?

I too use My Sport Training and love it. I've tried numerous others, but this was the best by far.

Re: Software for weight training?

If you are incorporating any type of outdoor cardio, like running, hiking, biking, etc, there is a nice program called rungps that is really useful. I've used it for a month and love it. Here's their site:

Re: Software for weight training?

Like jamesus and typhoone I also use My Sport Training. You might also look at FitSync. The PPC software on my device has it's share or errors or I would use the service even though there is a monthly cost.

Re: Software for weight training?

Problem with MySportTraining is it is not finger friendly. When you are in a gym, you don't want to be getting out a tiny stylus and fiddle with small buttons - especially if you have gloves on. The iphone gym apps are brilliant because they have big buttons. I really want to try and design a finger friendly gym app with big buttons for sets reps and exercise picker etc. I installed Microsoft Visual Basic and tried to get to grips with it but it was too complex.

If only there was a WYSIWYG app designer for noobs to develop their own apps.
