Re: New HTC WIFI Router software makes WMWifiRouter obsolete
Also using mine with an iPod Touch - using a Diamond + most recent stock Spint ROM.
Purchased WMWiFiRouter and had been using it with no problems, but very recently was having trouble maintaining Wifi signal. My Diamond's Wifi icon has been constantly "searching". This little app connected quickly and with no problems. I wrote to the WMWiFiRouter support group for some help to resolve the problem because I would still like to use the WMWiFiRouter app -it's more flexible - but the HTC one will do in a pinch.

Re: New HTC WIFI Router software makes WMWifiRouter obsolete
I must be missing something. I can not get this to work at all. It tells me it is running but I can not see it from any laptop when I scan for wireless networks. I am using a stock Sprint Touch Pro.

Re: New HTC WIFI Router software makes WMWifiRouter obsolete
is everybody aware you need to make sure you can see ad-hoc (computer to computer) networks from your PC? depending on your network settings you may only be looking for Access Points.
