Exclamation WMWifiRouter v1.60 Bug Alert

KB0912031: [BUG] v1.60, 3G->Wi-Fi, buttons disabled when ready

There is a bug version 1.60 which may cause the on-screen buttons to remain disabled when using the Cellular to Wi-Fi sharing mode.
This bug only appears when not using any network encryption.
This specific issue has been fixed in WMWifiRouter version 1.61, which has been released on December 23, 2009.
Should you have had to soft-reset (reboot) your device to exit WMWifiRouter because of this bug, we advise installing version 1.61 as soon as possible, and starting the Cellular to Wi-Fi sharing mode. As soon as it is ready, disconnect and exit WMWifiRouter. This procedure should automatically clean up any left-over settings by the soft-reset.
Here are direct links to the latest version of WMWifiRouter:
WMWifiRouter - English only - EXE (PC) installer
WMWifiRouter - English only - CAB (mobile) installer
WMWifiRouter - All languages - EXE (PC) installer
WMWifiRouter - All languages - CAB (mobile) installer

Re: WMWifiRouter v1.61 is Now Available

Hi,

I am new with WMWifiRouter and I just downloaded the version 1.61 trial and installed on my Omnia i910. I have no problem connecting using USB and Bluebooth. But when I try to connect using WiFi using my laptop, my laptop is not getting an ip address from the cell phone. Can someone help?

Thanks.

Henry

what u have to do is first turn on the wifi from your omnia and then run wmwifirouter and then use the wifi option on there and then try searching it and make sure one more thing make sure u have the connection as open for testing on the option in wmwifirouter as sometimes pc/laptop fails to connect
