Re: Update!!BING Mobile now available!!
From the posts on xda forum, it looks like the "new" Bing isn't supported on QVGA devices.
I tried installing on my Omnia and got the "Your device is not supported" message.

Re: Update!!BING Mobile now available!!
This new Bing is a step down from the old WM6 one if you ask me. One feature I liked was that it was so easy to look for something.. anything at or near your current GPS location. This new beta ruined that. Was in Salt Lake City on a snowboard trip last week and it was useless for that. We were looking for the closest chinese resturant and if was just frustrating. Uninstalled it, reinstalled live search and presto. Had one within walking distance.
Hopefully they fix that little problem in the next beta. |

Re: Update!!BING Mobile now available!!
Anyone figure out where the settings are stored? I constantly reflash and HATE having to accept the Terms of Service and tell the program to use my location. Also, how do I make it stop making a folder on the root of my SD Card?

Re: Update!!BING Mobile now available!!
lol... yea, bing has still never been helpful to me, ppc or pc/web. I'm not sure who's system they bought, but it was a waste of money. they should have googled to find a better one..

Re: Update!!BING Mobile now available!!
So I just installed the new bing beta for the first time yesterday, and besides reading that pretty much everyone says it is worse, I have a question. The main reason I used Bing over google maps sometimes was because after I enter a route on old bing and had gps turned on it would give the distance to the next turn in real time, and the driving directions would change and keep up with me as I navigated the route. In the new bing beta i had my route on the map and gps on but I could not get the next turn distance to count down or much less change to the next set of instructions when I turn. Can the new bing still lock the route onto your gps signal or did they break it that much?
I seriously wish google would put google navigation on winmo.
