In case you're still having this problem, you can try WP-Pilot. It has the ability to change some of WeatherPanel's settings, including the Units...

I searched the WeatherPanel forum and found this from KEN (who seems to know everything about WeatherPanel):

"I don't believe it does anything currently. Thanks for looking it up. That would be an awesome feature to have. Ken, where are you? We need you to come back and take this baby one step farther.

I also read that if you turn it on, your updates may stop working...

I've been reading through these steps to get Celsius on my 700wx and for the life of me I can't figure out how to put a link to the Today settings in iLauncher (pretty new to the phone and the software)

Here's an alternative: Install WP-Pilot. It has this WeatherPanel option (plus others) built into it's option set.

Did you try accessing WP's options through Settings -> Today???

At least using that method I got a scroll bar on my WP options.
