Call retentions, and tel them this is BS, and that Verizon is looking better and better. Let them know that you are aware of the cancellation clause, and don't care about the penalty, based on the principle of the them changing things (you should be grandfathered in).

That will get them going. Believe me, they will change it, and you will get it.

Thanks. Been there on a variety of things over the past 9 years with them. Eventually, I get what I want, but damnit, I just don't want the freakin hassle. Then they change something to make it happen, and my bill spikes by $20 a month, then I have to address that . . . you get the picture. Thanks again.
