How do you use this?!
I think you may have missed a few steps in the instructions ..

.
.
.
-- 7. Click on the "Panels" tab and wait for it to load.
-- 8. Check each panel you want to change the background of.
.
.
-- 11. When you are finished changing your backgrounds, Open the "File" menu and click "Apply changes".
-- 12. Wait for the progress form to close.
-- 13. Open the "File" menu and the "MS3" sub-menu .. then click "Restart". Wait for MS3 to restart and admire your changes.

Also, if the browse selection is not responding, when you tap-and-hold to open the context menu please make sure that you are tapping on a thumbnail and not on the background.

Re: MS3 Config v0.15 MORE BACKGROUNDS AND LESS BUGS!!!

I *STILL* don't understand how to change my background. Which image does it use? There are a certain number of slots for images, but (for me) it always uses a random image from the slots, how do I choose which one it uses?!?!

I have sat here in front of my PC and followed the instructions given, but I get the same result every single time.

I'm not sure I understand but let me try to explain the program's behavior a bit more in detail ...

- Unfortunately you can not choose which image is applied to each panel ... That is a function I hope to implement in the next update ...

- The images used are not applied at random but they are hard-coded .. meaning each image is used for a pre-determined set of panels ..

- The default behavior of each panel (when it is un-checked in the Panels tab) is to use the Global Background ... When you enable a panel (check it in the Panels tab) it will stop using the Global Background and start using whichever image slot that is assigned to it.

- Unless you have installed a custom skin or theme, the Global Background will be blank until you enable it in the Panels tab.

- If you want the same image on all of your backgrounds you can use the Global Background by itself and ignore the other settings.

I hope this helps .. If you would like a list of which images are applied to which backgrounds I can post one ... For most panels though, this can be easily determined, by enabling all of the panels and taking a quick look at your Tiled Panel View.

It seems a handful of people are having this same error since v0.15 (primarily on the sister thread at xda-dev) .. It will be the next thing that I tackle ..

If you can give me a bit more information it will help me to resolve the problem ...
Your device and your ROM/OS.
your version of MS3.
What, if any, mods or themes for MS3 you have installed.

Yes, I do not have a WQVGA device to test it but other users at XDA have it working on the Omnia ...

The only issue might be that there is no package with WQVGA backgrounds included ... but I'm sure you want to use your own images anyway
