For those that use skype and dont want to use headset, you can use this instead to send the audio/voice to the earpiece speaker

You have the service on desktop, not on Skype mobile. However, on Skype 3.0 Mobile beta, I think you do have that option.

Yes you can, not with 2.5, but with 3.0 Beta... That is exactly the reason I am using it since my girlfriend is in France right now.

to send international text with 3.0, does the other person have to have skype on their phone, or can i just type in their phone number and they will recieve the text?

Not required to have Skype on the receiving end.
