Its like have two #'s on one phone but for free. Example I have two phones ones gonna get the axe soon *cough tmobile cough* so everyone with my tmo # imma say hey this is my new # so they won't get my sprint number. Or in your case just from now on give ppl you GV# and really really important ppl your real cell number
