Maybe COM4 would wok but if you fire up GPS before using Garmin it can tend to freeze.

thnx MrObvious, but it is on com4 all da time... and I've tried on all other ports as well. Even after a fresh soft reset 95% of da time it finds 4-6 GPS, then drops it n says "Lost Satellite Reception"....

if all else fails, I'll do a fresh ROM installation. what r ya'll usin?!?!? I've been usin Mighty ROM 7, n i'll like to keep usin WM 6.5 (love da smooth scrolling)... any suggestion??

thnx psiphi, but here are da issues...

1) that's how my setting is.... and did soft reset many times after

2) I dont have option that says "Inter. Driver".... I listed all da options I have @ earlier post...

3) My GPS not bad, coz when rebooted, it finds GPS fine w/ Google Map...

Exit google maps and try it again. If it doesn't work a second time, you may have the same issue many people are having with the GPS on Diamonds and Touch Pros. HERE's the thread in the diamond forum. I'm pretty sure the TP forum has one as well.

for those who's havin same issues as me... I fixed w/out and changes at all. All I did is download latest Verizon 1.03.09v radio for Touch PRO from here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=74422 and installed. It finds GPS FAST!!!

on 6.1 i never had a problem, always got me where i needed to go...a few nights ago 6.5 i ran it...ran find got good signal and it took me to the completely wrong place...a hospital at that! dont know what the deal is with that
