I'd save yourself the 25 megs after install and just not dl it.... It's an alpha release so page rendering and scrolling is very slow, slower than PIE. I'll stick with Opera till they come out with a beta atleast.

I tried the Alpha for fun yesterday, I ended up uninstalling it about 20 minutes later. It is not ready for anything other than taking a peek at the interface, it's very slow, however has a lot of great ideas. Keep in mind it is a Alpha release and should be treated as such.

well this one actualy lets u in and get on the sites but buggy major bugy still but im pretty sure it will be better later on

I d/l'ed this alpha...and I'd like to correct myself, it is NOT the pre alpha that I had previously played with.

I'd like to give a positive spin on this browser since its been "slightly" flamed since this alpha build showed up here...

I like the tabbed browsing...seemed better handled to me than Opera.

extensions are already available...and the noscript extension works just fine....

the UI (sliding right and left off the screen to get to menus are relatively smooth and intuitive)

about:config works as it does the desktop version...not quite as in depth as the desktop version (as expected)

I did NOT experience those same memory hogging problems as a previous poster had noted...I closed out and my RAM sat at 52%.

The zoom (or lack thereof) I can deal with for now...since it IS an alpha build.

I was able to access websites with no noticeable problems...and the "awesome" bar works just like the desktop version.

It is no Opera Mobile yet...but if they learned from their Minimo mistakes...I think this will finally be the browser to beat Opera Mobile.
Remember, this is ONLY an ALPHA release...give it some time...
