Need comments on new Dialer / CM

I am wanting to get a new dialer / contact manager and wanted to get some input from some of you on a few different programs. Specifically, I am looking at
  • Iconsoft PhonEx
  • Inesoft Phone 4
  • Resco Contact Manager
I was also looking at SPB Phone Suite and iDialer, but think I have pretty much dropped those two.

The main thing I am after is a Dialer that also has T9-style contact searching. This is why I dropped iDialer from the list. I like the program, it's free, but doesn't do contact searching from the phone pad. I have hundreds of contacts...I'd rather not scroll through them by hand. Also, SPB Phone Suite has a pretty good Today plugin, but after that there isn't much to the program. No dialer either.

I'd also like a Today plugin of some sort to keep the information at hand. I use SPB Pocket Plus and would like a plugin to accompany it.

What are your thoughts on the programs above?

Inesoft is awesome, I have been using that for a while & I love it.

Photo Contact Pro is really nice also (I use the two programs together)

I personally prefer Phonex. 1.3 just came out, still has a minor bug if you use SPB mobile shell otherwise its great. Very fast scrolling, simple, not too cluttered, easy to edit photos etc. The others are similar, i just like the layout and speed of Phonex. Found Photo contact pro far too cluttered and if you have alot of contacts, its slow to scroll page by page unless you entere the exact name. Phonex scrolls just as fast as an iphone for easy viewing etc. Inesoft is similar but just a preference thing. Tried the new resco one as well which is very fast to load and has integrated sms threading if you dont use sms chat etc.

Yea, it's all personal preference. I had Phonex & the Inesoft program both installed for a while & much preferred the Inesoft myself (I liked the Inesoft address book & the history screen much better), but they are quite similar programs.

I like Inesoft Phone 4 myself. There is also another one that you might want to try called Sunnysoft Contacts. It is very fast when looking up contacts. I have over 1500 contacts stored on my phone for my business and both of these programs work great.

I am really really in love with resco cm. Its very intuitive and has some ballin' *** features. I would recommend, however, not letting resco handle incoming calls, because that crap is fugly. S2U2 is what does my answering and, together, they make me a happy Brad.

I use it on my Diamond. I mainly got it to get rid of the ring delay that the HTC dialer has. However, I haven't noticed any change in the ring delay.

Unless I'm doing something wrong.
