I installed it with Juggalo's 19xxx build, and my menus work, but they are just the standard WM menus. So, if you don't mind going without the finger friendly menus, then you can go on and install. :)

Anyone experience that in the mail tab, once you click on the message you want to view in the envelope, the Outlook mail application got opened but it got stuck when opening and all you see is the title in task bar changes to "Outlook Emal" and got stuck there....also when I launch Messaging app, it opened up completely but when I click on individual message, it does nothing. :(

So seems like something is interfering with it.

I'm using Calcu's kitchen to build my ROM with new Rhodium TF3D.

okay so i flashed my Sprint TP ( CDMA) with 6.5 (21193) and then installed the TF3d 2 all works right out of the flash.. the all people worked ( no contacts in there ) and the weather worked also.. then only thing that didnt work was the txt sim error...i still cant install the enhancment cab ..still gives error about the not being digitally signed...dont know whats up with that ...

i then installed Pim backup 6 and restored my contacts and the all peoples is now causing the manila to crash ..... im gona rest and do the contacts manualy and see it still crashs the manila ..will post back

if you disable touchflo from the today settings then install the cab it should work

Might also want to try google sync with your gmail or maybe even the new myphone from M$. www.myphone.microsoft.com

This will allow it to update with out the PIM file that is causing crashes. The my phone will backup all your stuff including txt messages and pictures.



Now, which rom are you using that has that build?

I have a question to anyone using the xbod manilla, how are you guys getting the time to change becaue the new manilla keeps putting my time behind by 1 hour. i changed it manually which is no problem, but whenever i receieve an email, they are off by 1 hour on the incoming time. I applied the dst patch but that had no effect.

I did this and my time is actually correct, but my emails still show an hour off.

since the time stamp is already there so past ones will not be correct. However new ones should be fine. Or you can delete the email account and redo it so the correct time stamp is applied (in theory anyway)

as scoobdude has said, those messages were downloaded & stamped w/a time that was off by an hour. the fix isn't going to change the messages you've already got, just for new ones :thumbright:

i just uninstalled it from my cdma TP. i read on XDA the only way to uninstall is to try to reinstall the cabs again, you'll get the message the program is already installed and it has to uninstall, i hit ok. and then cancel when it asks me where i want to install.
the process does take a LONG time. maybe 20 minutes or less but it brought me back to my previous state.

i disabled tf3d for good measure before uninstalling and uninstalled all 3 cabs in installed order, no soft reset in between.

Ok, so what are the odds that the new contacts and sms features could be ported to QVGA/M2D for a Vogue? If it is just a matter of resizing images, I'm game to helping do that. Or, and this is a question for you rom chefs and other experts that know more about how these services interact than I do, is this purely a function of TF3D and only convertable to VGA. (I have gotten the new menus to work on my touch, but so far the new notifications are only half working.) Is this even worth trying, or should I just start saving my money in hopes that Sprint gets the D2?

Which enhancement cab are you having trouble with? the notifications or the menu enhancements? I made the original notifications cab work by signing the .dlls and re-making the cab, but not the newer one. If it is still an issue with the newer one I could probably do it with that too.

Everytime i delete the forcast_cache,replace it with the manila one,then go to weather application. It reboots and the forcast_cache pops bac up.....hummmm?

is the g-sensor supposed to be able to automaticaly put landscape on when u rotate your phone? if so it doesnt work for me.

You need .net framework 3.5 for WM. You can get this on Microsoft's site.

crashing for me too! on a side note, has anyone actually been able to text from manila's interface? I want to be able too. but I just can't! the box floats, I can't see the last text, and I wish that slider at the bottom would go away!

This is mainly a diamond feature and there is a fix for it if you want it to work. I'll see if I can find it and post it.

yeah... I think I'm going to switch back to my the backup point I created before I installed this.


Its really nice but the little bugs makes it a big problem for me. I think the feature I favor the most is the calendar tab. All the other things I can pretty much do with out. Not having a program tab is really annoying and the slight lag is a pain as well. The HTC contact interface was nice as well, before it will crash. LOL.



I don't know if this is known, but I installed the Alltel theme and it was all jacked up. THe BG didn't show up and the clock wouldn't flip up as well. Some of the text couldn't been read as well.





Unless they fix everything AND included all of the features from the Touch Pro 2, then I'll just stick to the original.
