Yup, I was using the wrong zImage....got it working.

And it just restarted after the intro how-to guide.

How do you restore contacts in the Android OS ?

I have a PIM backup file if I can use that ?

Is this really fully function CDMA as the tittle says ?

It's easier to use activesync to sync your contacts to google contacts and get them from there onto android.

Server: m.google.com
User/Pass: same as google mail

I'm confused as to why this thread hasn't been moved to it's proper place and why it's not a sticky in the HTC Touch Pro section...

Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't this thread specifically for the HTC Touch Pro?

The thread used to be Diamond AND Touch Pro. Hopefully the Diamond can be fixed up with next.

I already had 1.6 UTB and one of makkonen's builds running, so I just downloaded the Eclair-2009-12-28b.7z that was listed in the XDA Eclair forum today and replaced the zImage and rootfs it works fine! Not too slow either... can't wait until makkonen can tweak!

same way, downloaded the eclair and replaced the rootfs, zimage, and system.sqsh files from the 1.6utb and it works. calls kinda work for me, i have the speaker working but not the mic. soooooo flippin close!! can;t wait for this to be a working option for us!!
